Years guiding

Hi, I'm Paul-Daniel

Growing up near the Austrian Alps, I spent my childhood weekends exploring the trails around Schneeberg and Rax. What started as a passion became a profession, and Druid Trails is the result of years of guiding, learning, and refining what makes an outdoor experience truly memorable.

I founded Druid Trails because I believe the mountains should be accessible to everyone — not just experienced hikers. Every person who walks with me gets a fully tailored experience, built around their fitness level, interests, and goals.

When I'm not guiding, I'm out in the mountains myself — testing new routes, reading about weather patterns, or planning the next overnight adventure. The learning never stops.

The Druid Trails philosophy

🎯

Tailored, always

No two groups are the same. I never run fixed tours. Every itinerary is designed from scratch around who you are and what you want.

🛡️

Safety without compromise

I monitor weather daily, check the avalanche bulletin in winter, and have full wilderness first aid training. Your safety is the foundation of every decision.

📚

Knowledge that lasts

I want you to leave with more than just a great experience. I want you to leave with skills and understanding that make you a better, more confident outdoor person.

🌿

Respect for nature

Leave No Trace principles guide everything I do. These mountains have been here millions of years — we're guests.

💬

Honest communication

If the weather looks bad, I'll tell you early. If a route isn't right for your group, I'll say so and find a better one. No surprises.

💶

Fair, transparent pricing

Flat rates, no hidden fees, no per-person stacking. What you see when you book is what you pay.

Let's go exploring

Whether you want a one-day adventure or a full skill-building experience — I'd love to guide you.
